Julian Lewis – Managing Director
Julian has worked in IT for over 20 years and for the last 10 years has focused on helping SME businesses achieve real business advantage through the use of IT which meets its needs. Julian has a consultative approach to sales and always tries to fully understand the business he is talking to or working with before recommending any solution.
He has a technical background (MCSE) gained whilst working for Blue chip companies such as BT, Sony, Tyco and Galileo. He now uses this technical knowledge combined with his blue chip experience to give people corporate business advantage at small business prices.
Julian believes in trust based selling and in doing so can now count many clients as life long friends. If you want to find somebody who can help you Julian will know just the contact!
He is a family man who loves to spend time socialising and living life to the full.
He is on the management committee of Newbury Rugby club who are one of the top 28 rugby clubs in the country with a community focus. Playing rugby is only a distant memory these days and he has to settle for walking the dogs in the fantastic West Berkshire countryside as his main form of exercise.
Keith Hill – Technical Director
Keith is our Technical Director, which means his role is to ensure that we maintain the highest level of technical excellence. As a support client of ours you will benefit from Keith’s 25 years of technical knowledge, the last 10 spent working with SME businesses. To you this means that Keith will ensure that your systems give your business competitive edge and that they continue to do so. Keith experience is also used by our support team if they don’t know we assure you Keith will!!
Keith loves spending time with his family and friends and has an affinity with the Greek Islands which is his favourite holiday destination.
Phil Haslett – Operations Director
Phil Haslett is our Operations Director, which means that he ensures that you get the support service that we promised you. Phil is the guardian of our 6 guarantees ensuring that we deliver to you on excellent service. Phil has 23 years experience in customer service and was one of the first people in the UK to start a PC support team. Phil is very focused on delivering technical excellent for our clients and he does so always with the business objective of our clients in mind.
Phil spend the summer months being a lifeguard on the beach near his home.
Carrie Green – Account Manager
Carrie is at the heart of our client service. Her role is to ensure Positive Computing clients are not just satisfied customers, but Raving Fans. Carries says “We get over 75% of our new clients from personal recommendations from past clients, so we must be doing something right”!. Carrie works at the heart of our office linking together all the departments. She has been with the company for 6 years meaning she is very experienced in all aspect of ensuring we deliver excellence at all times. Carrie is a Microsoft Certified Licensing specialist which means she can find the right solution for your company in the licensing maze.
In her spare time Carrie is a Guide leader, helping young women to become good citizens and to fulfil their potential..
Ken Brown – Senior Systems Engineer
Ken is one of our senior systems engineers. He's a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and has spent over 5 years helping small businesses like yours to become more effective. Ken is a favourite with our clients and he has the attention to detail that is often required in IT installations and problem resolution.
Ken often spends his spare time walking with his wife while accompanied by their bullmastiff cross Hugo.
Iain Cautherley – Systems Engineer
Iain specialises in proving quality and friendly support to companies like yours. Iain is a Microsoft Certified Professional with 13 years experience in IT Support.
Iain spends his spare time socialising with friends and family and is often found down the gym or playing on his PS3!
Paul Wheeler – Systems Engineer
If you phone us you will often get direct through to Paul. Paul works off up to 3 monitors as he does that thing most men cannot manage, multi-tasking! Paul started as a trainee with the company some 3 years ago and has gained practical experience helping small and medium business through their IT problems. Paul is studying for a FDSC (Foundation Science Degree) in Computing and Information Systems at Thames Valley University. Paul is a Microsoft Certified Desktop Engineer.
Known affectionately within the company as “Wonder Boy” Paul is rarely stumped. Paul spends his spare time socialising and shopping!
Linda Gale – Quality Manager
Ensuring that all our clients receive the same high quality of service from Positive Computers no matter who they deal with.
But Linda explains that this is only half the story “The other key area on my work is ensuring we are fully aware of what our clients think of our service and what we do. Last but by no means least my role is to look for ways of improving the quality of the service we provide”.
In her spare time Linda loves to travel and walk with the family and their two dogs.
